The first eleven snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against Milnrow at Ladyhouse on Saturday with a twenty two run victory. This win maintains the Moonrakers second position, eleven points clear of third as they go into next week’s clash with leaders Crompton at Towncroft.

Pritchard's Punches Stun Radcliffe

The 1st XI continued their impressive run of form with a nail biting victory over Radcliffe at Towncroft on Saturday. With the stand perhaps as full as it has been all season, the 1st XI did not disappoint gaining five points and sitting twelve points clear in second place.

On Sunday the 1st XI faced Rochdale in the re arranged first round tie of the Wood cup. Unfortunately the Moonrakers could not emulate the success of the previous day as Rochdale won by 76 runs.

Centurions at Reyner Lane

Unbeaten centuries from both Jones (105 n.o) and Kemm (128 n.o) helped the 1st XI ensure back to back victories on Saturday against Ashton.  Kemm was also the star of the show with the ball as he picked up 5 wickets which saw Middleton win by 8 wickets.

Middleton C.C. currently have three senior teams competing in the Penine Cricket League, and five junior teams.

Senior matches take place on the majority of Saturday and Sundays.

The Junior sides play on various nights throughout the week, as well as the Under 13s playing on Sunday mornings.

We have a function room that is available for hire all year round. For more information click here.

The Club is always on the look out for new members. Be it purely social or playing membership, we are always looking to expand our community.

50/50 Club
The Club hold a weekly draw. The cost is £5 per month, and the weekly prize is £50. Anybody interested should contact Peter Collinson.
