Under 15's: Great British Summer Rains Disappointment.
Monday, 01 July 2013

The Middleton Under 15s match that was to be played on Towncroft on Friday 28th June was called off due to the seasonal rains.

The Middleton lads who were playing host to Crompton were extremely disappointed as they have won every game they have played this season. They have their hopes set on winning the league this season and are praying a real summer kicks in very soon.

They are set to play away at Rochdale on Friday 5th July. Followed by 2 home games 12th and 19th July starting at 6pm.

Under 9's: The Girls Outshine the Boys
Thursday, 27 June 2013

On Tuesday night, Middleton battled hard in their match against Crompton but they fell short by 26 runs.

Batting first, Crompton scored 262 for 4 off their 15 overs, with Macy taking one wicket and Emma taking three.

In reply, Middleton ran between the wickets very well but did not hit enough boundaries. That being said, John hit the only 6 of the match, with a cultured stroke over mid-wicket.
