Walker Leads Middleton to Top of the Table

Shaw CCGeorge Walker, Middleton Captain, led his team to the top of the table with a courageous batting performance against Shaw on Saturday 13th May. It was a great team performance with several individuals stepping up to the plate when the going got tough, none more so than Walker a serious injury doubt earlier in the week.

Middleton Ease into the Next Round of the Wood Cup

It was a cool day at Towncroft on Saturday in what was a historical Wood Cup match versus Micklehurst. A competition Middleton first entered in 1921 and won at the first attempt, they then went on to win the competition a further eleven times. This would be their last time of entering the competition before they make the move to the Lancashire League next year.

It was an early start on Sunday 30th April as Uppermill CC arrived at a resplendent looking ground at Towncroft. You only get to become one of the best grounds in Lancashire through sheer hard work and 6 months preparation from the Middleton groundsman had certainly paid off...

Middleton C.C. currently have three senior teams competing in the Penine Cricket League, and five junior teams.

Senior matches take place on the majority of Saturday and Sundays.

The Junior sides play on various nights throughout the week, as well as the Under 13s playing on Sunday mornings.

We have a function room that is available for hire all year round. For more information click here.

The Club is always on the look out for new members. Be it purely social or playing membership, we are always looking to expand our community.

50/50 Club
The Club hold a weekly draw. The cost is £5 per month, and the weekly prize is £50. Anybody interested should contact Peter Collinson.
