Burton Cup Semi Final- Change of Date

Due to a LCB Knockout Match behind held at Walsden, the league committee have decided to move the Burton Cup Semi final from the 6th July to the 13th July.

The match will still be held at Walsden's Scott Street ground with a 1:30pm start time.

Records fall as Nichols Batters Milnrow

Following on from defeat to Heywood in the first T20 of the season the night before, Middleton 1st XI entered Saturday’s fixture against Milnrow C.C. with the daunting task of containing the prolific Rudi Second. Despite the absence of skipper Grant Jones, vice captain George walker stepped up to the plate taking responsibility of the team for the day and, after winning the toss, elected to bat first.

Middleton C.C. currently have three senior teams competing in the Penine Cricket League, and five junior teams.

Senior matches take place on the majority of Saturday and Sundays.

The Junior sides play on various nights throughout the week, as well as the Under 13s playing on Sunday mornings.

We have a function room that is available for hire all year round. For more information click here.

The Club is always on the look out for new members. Be it purely social or playing membership, we are always looking to expand our community.

50/50 Club
The Club hold a weekly draw. The cost is £5 per month, and the weekly prize is £50. Anybody interested should contact Peter Collinson.
