At Middleton Cricket Club, we've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our members and guests needs. With that goal in mind, we are compiling a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, please go to the Contact Us section for further information. What teams do you run?
We have three Senior sides (1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI) and four Junior teams (U11, U13, U15 & U18).
When do you train?
Training is on Thursdays for Junior teams and Mondays & Thursdays for Senior teams. For more information on Junior Cricket please click here.
What time does training start?
For Juniors training starts at 4:30pm and for Seniors 6:00pm.
Can I join?
Yes, the Club is always looking for new members and players BUT you must be a member of the Club to train. Membership forms are available to download here.
Are there facilities available for disabled Cricket?
Middleton Cricket Club are a nominated club for the disabled and have coaching for juniors with either learning or physical disabilities available on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. We also host the practice sessions for the Lancashire Hardball and Softball teams, as well as numerous disabled fixtures throughout the summer. Is the function room available for hire?
The function room is available for hire through the Club Stewards John Travis or David Williams. It is available for Weddings, Conferences, Dinners, Parties etc. However, to hire the function room you must become a member. For more information please click here.
Where do I buy tickets for social events?
Tickets can be bought from either the Bar or from one of the Social Committee members. Please note that tickets to social events can only be purchased by Middleton CC members. If you are interested in becoming a member then membership forms are available to download here.
Where can I find your ground?Our ground, Tonwncroft, is situated at the corner of Hollins Lane and Rochdale Road in Middleton, Greater Manchester. We are just 5 minutes from Junction 19 on the M62 Motorway, down the A6046 from the Roundabout at the top of the slip road. |
