The Ladies play a huge and important role in the successful running of the Club.  In the height of the Season they are all busy in the tea room preparing food not only for the Cricketers and members of the public, but also preparing special buffets for the matches that are Sponsored on the day.  These buffets can cater for anything from 20 to 40 people, include both hot and cold food, and are a huge success with our Sponsors.  We have 4 Teams of ladies that work to a Rota throughout the season and a team of Floaters that help out when necessary.  Although 4 Teams and Floaters sound like a lot of ladies, it isn’t  and  we are always looking for help in the kitchen on match days.  So if you would like to join us and help out, even if it was only an hour of your time you could give, we would be eternally grateful. Two or Three extra ladies could even make up an extra team! 


Out of Season the ladies are busy holding fundraising events.  The main fundraising event of the year being The Xmas Fair which raises a lot of money for the Club.  A lot of planning and hard work goes into this by the ladies, but they are more than rewarded by the member’s, and the public’s, attendance who have great fun on the day, having a go on the Tombola Stalls, Guessing the Weight of the Cake, Guessing the Name of the Teddy, Raffles, and many other stalls.  All in all a good successful fun day out.
